I absolutely LOVE to shop! I love getting dressed up to walk around the mall and my favorite stores. I'm getting more into online shopping. Now, I do have an Etsy shop, but I started looking at the items available on Etsy. It is AMAZING! There are so many good finds there. You can decorate your house, accessorize any outfit, even buy treats and goodies. The prices range from awesome deals to extravagant purchases.
Check it out, you will really be amazed!

Hairbows!
I really like making hairbows. I think it's so cute when little girls have them in their hair. It really makes an outfit. I used to make them and sell them a few years ago, but stopped making them because I think I was burned out. I went over to a friend's house and we decided to make some bows. It got me back in the mood to make some. I learned a few new ways and really had a good time.
The other day I went to my favorite craft store, Hobby Lobby, to get some ribbon and found this awesome zebra print ribbon. I fell in LOVE with it! I paired it with hot pink ribbon and I think they are just eye catching. I loved them so much I had to put some on my Etsy store. Below are some of the bows I made.

My new hat!
This is the hat I decided to make for the twins. I like it a lot better than the other ones. I love how this one looks like a ballerina. I think the tulle adds so much to this hat. It is for sale at my Etsy store!

Knitted Hats and Hair Bows
Baby Hats
I finished the baby hats for the twins, but I don't think they are quite right. They turned out cute, but I have another idea in my head that I think will look cuter. Girls are so much fun to dress up, especially when they are so tiny and actually let you dress them up, that I think I need to make a hat with tulle on it. I'm working on it.

Hair Bows
Yesterday I went to a friend's house and we decided to bust out some bows. I used to make and sell hairbows, but things get crazy and interests change. Once we sat down to make them, I realized how much fun they really are to make. Below are two of the Valentine's Day bows I made. I think I need to make a trip to my favorite store, Hobby Lobby, to buy more ribbon!

Welcome!
I am so excited about starting a new blog! This blog is dedicated to my adventures in knitting, finding fast and easy cooking recipes, fun little crafts and projects I do, and whatever else I think of doing. Some posts may be short (like this one), but hey, I'm a mom with kids, a house, and two dogs.
Knitting is a passion of mine. There are so many babies born every year and each one needs a hat. I'm not a fan of the sock hats you receive at the hospital, so I like making cute hats that stand out and make moms smile. I am currently working on some cute little newborn hats for a mom who just had twins. I will get them posted once they are finished.
Become a follower--it will be an adventure!
